Too many people are entitled and act superior to people who work in the service jobs. cashiers waiters etc. fuck those people. it should be mendatory to work at those jobs when you are young then you'll see a whole generations of decent acting people.

I know a lot of people here work in shit jobs and mock demanding customers as Karens. The truth is, if you are doing your job badly, and that applies to any job, you are going to get customer complaints. Moreover too many customers don't complain when they should because they don't want the drama.

Yelling is not ok. BUT when I'm displeased with the service I will tell the service worker. Saying: "It's not my fault we grab your ass when you enter, it's company policy" will not make me stop complaining. Even companies try to get out of trouble by claiming it's not their fault but some mysterious mother-company is responsible. My logic is: hit* they guy available for hitting and he will either fix it or be annoyed and quit the job. If everybody would follow this logic companies with bad policies would soon run out of workers. *I'm paraphrasing here, please don't hit people, complain verbally in a stern but calm manner.

When I was working retail some lady came in and started complaining that the coconut oil she bought 4 months ago wasnt on sale anymore.She wanted to speak to my boss.Spineless twat told her she could just have a free one.I dont understand why we bend the rules and reward bad behavior in retail.Fuck entitled people.

... who has no influence in the decision making of company policies and/or rules. I work in customer service. Here's a tip.... you can get almost everything you want, just don't be an asshole. The second you become rude, uneducated, yell, etc... all of a sudden company policies have become like steel walls. And I aint bending them for you.

I remember standing in line at the bank a while ago, there were about three people ahead of me, and the two tellers were dealing with other customers. The older man in front of me grumbled about how the tellers were taking too long, and it was at that moment... Clarity. "It is not the tellers that are the problem, but the customers who are the ones who keep raising new issues or don't have all the information at hand and have to look for it, so don't blame the tellers, they can only work as fast as the customers they are helping."

Well I tell you a little thing. The attitude of most of minimum wage workers makes me aggressive as well. Working as little as possible and trying to avoid any work and the complain about not getting enough money and everyone else is at fault but them. As much as I despise Karens who unnecessarily start screaming and shouting at these people, I really can understand why these people are seen as useless. I apporach these people friendly like: "Hey I saw the XY shelf is empty, you dont have a restock shelf in the back, do you?" Some answer: "No sorry, all we have is stocked", others actually go in the back and look (and it seems honest) but the majority is: "Nah dunno, not my job."
